Comfort where the house needs it

Ductless heat pumps are a good fit when one room is always colder, hotter, or simply disconnected from the rest of the house. We install wall-mounted units, ceiling cassettes, and floor consoles for under windows and knee walls.

Line-set covers are painted to match the siding. Most single-zone installs are done in one day.

Straightforward price ranges

A typical installed single zone runs from $4,800 to $7,500. Two zones typically run from $9,000 to $13,000. Whole-home multi-zone projects generally range from $14,000 to $24,000.

Your estimate is built around the heat loss, equipment choice, and the route to each room, not a one-size-fits-all package.

Wall-mounted

Mounted high on a wall, good for most bedrooms, living rooms, and rooms over the garage.

Out of the way

Ceiling cassette

Sits flush in the ceiling, for rooms where you would rather not see a unit on the wall.

Low and flexible

Floor console

Sits low, for under windows and the knee walls in Cape and upstairs rooms.

Short answers

Ductless questions

We have hot-water baseboard and no ducts. Can we still have heat pumps?

Yes. That is one of the most common homes we do.

Can one unit heat the room over the garage on its own?

Usually, once we run the heat loss for that room. “The room over the garage sat empty for six years. One unit later it is the warmest room in the house.” Lisa M., Brewer.

Do mini-splits cool in summer too?

Yes. The same unit cools and dehumidifies.
